As the fields of addiction and behavioral health treatment grow increasingly intertwined, gatherings like CCSAD and C4’s other conferences are not only beneficial — they are necessary. We provide an opportunity for members of both communities to share experiences from their disciplines and discover new ways to blend best practices, developing integrated approaches and treatments that are sensitive to the link between substance abuse and other mental health concerns. CCSAD brings people, ideas, processes, techniques and more together in a space that encourages teamwork, broadens perspectives and creates lasting improvements in our work.

Throughout the conference, CCSAD attendees will benefit from talks, presentations and workshops as well as downtime to network with peers from across the country and around the world. Our sessions also provide essential continuing education credits for licensed professionals. The experience is personally and professionally enriching for attendees, and benefits the community as a whole by forging new connections and building better paths forward. CCSAD is a full weekend of premier workshops, new industry knowledge and a can’t-miss opportunity for all members of the addiction and behavioral health recovery community.

CCSAD 2021 will be held from September 9-12 in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Registration will open in May and a detailed agenda, brochure, faculty bios, interactive exhibitor map, special events, and more will be available online at that time. This year you can earn up to 30.5 CE/CME credits and attend any of 56 diverse workshops from 90 esteemed faculty.

How is CCSAD different?

CCSAD has been a fixture of the addiction and mental health conference circuit for over 30 years. Since its outset, it has grown into an international event attended by top professionals in the recovery industry. Last year, CCSAD hosted 1200 participants from 5 countries and 42 states. CCSAD’s dedication to continuing education and networking is unparalleled; our signature combination of workshops and seminars always includes the most timely industry topics and cutting-edge perspectives. Our exhibit hall promises an exceptional showcase of the industry’s leading products, services and facilities.

The CCSAD agenda focuses on treating addiction disorders, including alcohol use disorder, prescription drug use disorders, illicit drug use disorders and process addictions. We also discuss broader behavioral health topics such as clinical approaches to treatment, case management and emerging therapeutic modalities.
